Whats the problem ? As i changed my power supply from 164 W to ATX-P4 450 W my PC didnt display anything.
The red light that turns on on motherboard for a little while when we switch on (power on) the PC remains on and no display. Keyboard’ light also off not working.
whats the problem ? What can i do to use that power supply because im already on lower wattages with my smaller power supply.
Pentium IV, 250 GB SATA HDD, 1.5 GB RAM DDR, 3 GHz Processor, D865 GLC Motherboard. Is this the problem that my motherboard is not supporting that huge power supply or what ?
Power supply’s fan was moving , so do my processor’s when i connected New Power Supply

As i reconnected my older power supply PC start working fine
Did you change the tiny voltage switch on the back of the power supply unit to the number that suits your electric current? I believe that is the reason it is not working.
Or it could be that your graphics card (If it’s an advanced model) is not hooked up to the PSU.
Or you missed to hook up something to the PSU, the motherboard, or you have a RAM chip that was moved out of its place while you installed the PSU.
